Together let's Bridge the Gap
The “Bridge the Gap” event brings Milwaukee Diaper Mission’s biggest supporters together for an evening of fundraising, community building, and networking.
On September 21, 2023, attendees will board the Edelweiss Cruises' “Harbor Lady” and depart on a private cruise, traveling downtown via the Milwaukee River and into the harbor and Lake Michigan as we celebrate the impact MDM has had since our founding in 2020 and the hope for the lives we can change tomorrow.
Event Timing
5:30pm - Registration opens, boarding, cocktails (please aim to arrive no later than 6:10pm so we can enjoy as much time on the water as possible)
6:15pm - Welcome message aboard the Harbor Lady
6:30pm - Depart the dock - hors d’oeuvres, amazing raffle, photography by Jamie Robarge, music by DJ4000, and custom booty portraits by RADillustrates
8:30pm - Return to dock
Parking
There is street parking available on Highland Ave. and N. Doctor Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, and multiple paid lots within a 1 block radius of the dock - please follow parking signs. We suggest parking in one of the following lots:
- 130 E. State St. - Marcus Center Parking Ramp - This parking ramp is on the East side of the Milwaukee River. Take the Highland Ave. walking bridge to the West Side of the Milwaukee River, where you will find The Harbor Lady docked.
- 1024 N. Doctor Martin Luther King Jr. Drive - Vern’s Parking –1 block South of the Edelweiss Dock on the South side of Usinger’s (open after 5pm on weekdays & weekends only).
